Former USPSTF Members: AHRQ Cuts, Proposed Merger Could Hamstring Taskforce

Former heads of the U.S. Preventative Services Task Force are sounding the alarm that the Trump administration’s proposed HHS reorganization and budget cuts affecting AHRQ could undermine USPSTF, which determines which preventative treatments must be covered free of cost by insurers.
