Four former FDA commissioners and a host of patient advocacy, research and physician groups on Tuesday (Sept. 3) called on President Donald Trump and HHS Secretary Alex Azar to nominate Acting FDA Commissioner Ned Sharpless as the agency’s permanent chief.
