FDA, USDA, EPA Launch Agriculture Biotechnology Regulation Website

FDA on Thursday (Jan. 9) launched a biotechnology regulation website in collaboration with U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Environmental Protection Agency that is intended to streamline information from the three agencies charged with overseeing agriculture biotechnology products. The website, USBiotechnologyRegulation.mrp.usda.gov, is one aspect of the U.S. Coordinated Framework for Biotechnology Products, a comprehensive federal regulatory policy that aims to improve transparency, predictability, coordination and efficiency of the biotechnology regulatory system.
