FDA, Patients To Discuss How Device Makers Communicate Cyber Risks

FDA on Tuesday (July 2) announced that it will meet with patients to come up with ideas for how FDA, the medical device industry and health care providers should tell patients and the public about cybersecurity risks associated with devices. The agency also hopes to discuss patient concerns about the process of making changes to devices in order to reduce cyber risks.
