FDA Partners With India To Seize Up To 500 Illegal Drug Shipments

FDA, the Government of India and U.S Customs and Border Protection stopped nearly 500 shipments of unapproved illicit drugs as part of a bilateral enforcement program known as Operation Broadsword. The operation, which ran from Jan. 28 to Jan. 30, aimed to stop potentially dangerous drugs and medical devices from entering the United States, FDA says in a Tuesday (Feb. 18) press release.
