FDA Met Privately With CDC, DOD To Select Flu Vaccine Strain

FDA held a meeting with its staff as well as experts from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Department of Defense to decide on selection of strains to recommend to manufacturers for the 2025-2026 influenza season, in lieu of its usual meeting of external experts on the Vaccine and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee (VRBPAC).
