FDA Lets Some Pharmacies Dispense Abortion Pill, Allows Virtual Rx

FDA has finalized changes to the prescribing and dispensing restrictions on the abortion pill, mifepristone, allowing licensed health care providers and certain pharmacies, including retail pharmacies, to dispense the drug, Danco Laboratories and GenBioPro, which manufacture mifepristone, announced Tuesday evening (Jan. 3) .
