Updated Story Pfizer and BioNTech announced Friday (July 16) that FDA will use the priority review process to handle the company’s application for full approval of its COVID-19 vaccine in patients ages 16 and older, which the company says could lead to full approval of its COVID-19 vaccine by January 2022.
