Frank Yiannas, FDA’s deputy commissioner for food policy and response, is resigning ahead of an expected announcement of upcoming structural reforms to the agency’s food operations, which have been highly scrutinized in the wake of FDA’s troubled response to the infant formula shortage last spring.
