Nationwide enrollment in Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program declined by 2.2 million in 2018, according to new data released Thursday (April 25) by CMS, and a further analysis by Georgetown University concludes that 861,000 fewer children were covered by Medicaid and CHIP.
