The House Energy & Commerce Committee on Wednesday (June 12) unanimously voted to advance a bill that would ban pharmacy benefit managers from engaging in spread pricing to help pay for a bill streamlining enrollment of out-of-state providers in Medicaid to support children with complex medical needs. The committee also passed a bill that would temporarily grant doctors the ability to mail prescription medications to patients rather than always have them dispense them at their offices.
