The House Energy & Commerce Committee passed Tuesday (Sept. 14) and early Wednesday (Sept. 15) provisions to close the Medicaid coverage gap and invest $190 billion in home- and community-based services, among other health care provisions, but punted until later Wednesday votes to add Medicare benefits and let Medicare negotiate drug prices due to a battle over the latter.
