E&C To Hold Legislative Hearing On Bipartisan Drug-Pricing Package

The House Energy & Commerce Committee will hold a hearing next week on a package of bipartisan drug-pricing bills, sources say. The committee is considering including a bill capping out-of-pocket drug costs for Medicare beneficiaries and a drug-price transparency bill, the FAIR Drug Pricing Act, that would require drug makers give advance notice of and justification for certain drug price increases.
