Updated Story Following a wave of layoffs of probationary employees at HHS over the weekend, the federal government told a D.C. district judge Monday (Feb. 17) billionaire cost-cutting czar Elon Musk is not the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). The Department of Justice lawyer representing DOGE and Musk in a lawsuit brought by Democratic attorneys general also claimed the layoffs that took place at a multitude of government agencies were not directed by DOGE...
