Dems Unveil Reconciliation Package With $64B For 3-Year ARP Extension

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) Wednesday (July 27) announced a new reconciliation deal that, in addition to earlier drug pricing reforms, now includes a three-year extension of the enhanced Affordable Care Act credits enacted under the American Rescue Plan, a year longer than previously agreed to but in line with what beneficiary advocates had been pushing.
