As lawmakers return to Washington next week, Democratic leadership is demanding an immediate meeting with GOP leaders to avoid a potential government shutdown should no action be taken by Sept. 30, voicing concerns about rural hospital struggles and potential expiration of enhanced ACA premium tax credits.
