Medicaid expansion could become a reality in Kansas, Maine and Wisconsin after Democrats won the governor’s mansions in those states Tuesday (Nov. 6). But in several other non-expansion states with close governors’ races -- most notably Florida -- Democratic candidates lost after making Medicaid expansion a centerpiece of their campaigns.
