Dem Leaders: Admin’s Guidance On COVID-19 Testing Misinterprets Law

The Democratic leaders of key congressional health committees say recent Trump administration guidance that says insurers are not required to cover COVID-19 testing for surveillance or return to work screenings clashes with congressional intent. The bicameral leaders urge HHS, Treasury and the Department of Labor to revisit the June 23 guidance, and they request answers to a series of related questions by July 14.
