Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) on Wednesday (Sept. 25) introduced legislation that would require FDA to revise its 2016 “Substances Generally Recognized as Safe” rule and close loopholes that currently give the food industry the ability to determine whether chemicals are safe to consume.
