CMS Touts New Rural Health Framework As FAH Pushes For Lame Duck Support

CMS’ Rural Health Council on Tuesday (Nov. 15) announced a new set of guidelines for rural and tribal health that the agency says will boost access and equity goals for the next five years. The move comes as hospitals call on lawmakers to pass measures to support rural health providers during the lame-duck session.
