CMS Touts Launch Of State-Based Exchanges In KY, NM, ME

Three states have completed their transition from federally run to full state-based exchanges, giving local officials more control over policy decisions that meet the specific needs of their residents, CMS announced Monday (Oct. 4). New Mexico’s SBM beWell launched on Oct. 1 for shopping, and residents in Kentucky and Maine can start looking for products via Kynect and CoverMe.gov -- respectively -- on Oct. 15.
