CMS Sets 2023 Max Out-Of-Pocket Limits

CMS in late December revealed that the maximum out-of-pocket spending for self-only Affordable Care Act- compliant individual coverage will be $9,100 for 2023, and $18,200 for other coverage, or about 4.6% higher than in 2022. The changes were calculated using the about 1.4 % premium adjustment percentage for 2023, and the 2014 maximum spending limit of $6,350 for self-only coverage.
