CMS Releases RFI On Improving Maternal Health In Rural Areas

CMS on Wednesday (Feb. 12) asked stakeholders for suggestions on how to improve rural maternal health and increase the readiness of rural providers, particularly for obstetric emergencies. The Request for Information follows an issue brief CMS released last September on rural maternal health that included suggestions for improving care .
