CMS Releases Report On Social Determinants Codes In Medicare FFS

CMS earlier this month unveiled a report on the Z codes providers use to report fee-for-service Medicare beneficiaries’ social determinants of health, and stakeholders called this a good first step towards tackling social determinants but said the codes still have limitations.
