CMS Proposes Changes To Risk Adjustment In Medicare Advantage

CMS on Thursday (Dec. 20) released proposed changes to the Medicare Advantage risk-adjustment model that will take into account each beneficiary’s total number of conditions, as required by the 21st Century Cures Act. The agency is also proposing to change the way risk scores are calculated.
