CMS Proposes 2.6% Pay Bump For Inpatient Psychiatric Facilities

CMS has proposed a 2.6%, or $70 million, pay rate increase for Medicare’s Inpatient Psychiatric Facilities Prospective Payment System for fiscal 2025, along with revisions to the patient-level adjustment factors and updates to the wage index based on the Core-based Statistical Areas (CBSA) labor market area.
