CMS Prepping Guidance To Wind Down Medicaid Flexibility Post-COVID-19

CMS is preparing guidance on winding down its COVID-19 Medicaid flexibilities, particularly for eligibility, post-pandemic, Deputy Administrator and Director of the Center for Medicaid and CHIP Services Calder Lynch said Wednesday (Sept. 16). In March, CMS granted emergency waivers to states to ease Medicaid requirements as states responded to the pandemic.
