Medicare Advantage (MA) plans must prove they deliver enough value for the extra federal reimbursement they receive compared to traditional Medicare, CMS' principal deputy administrator said while acknowledging concerns that the funding disparity is undermining accountable care organizations (ACOs) and contributing to health care consolidation.
