CMS Might Let Seniors Who Take Insulin Switch Plans Midyear

CMS might let beneficiaries who use insulin take the unusual step of switching Medicare plans after the current open enrollment period ends if they choose the wrong plan because they didn’t know all plans must cap monthly out-of-pocket insulin costs at $35, a CMS spokesperson told Inside Health Policy.
