CMS Gives $2.3M To Support Navigators In Special Enrollment Period

The Biden administration said Monday (March 1) it is distributing nearly $2.3 million to the 30 navigator entities working to provide in-person enrollment assistance to consumers in states using healthcare.gov. CMS also plans to significantly increase spending for the in-person enrollment assisters and will publish a funding opportunity in the spring so there’s sufficient time to award the grants in advance of the 2022 open enrollment window.
