CMS Announces $1.9B Medicare Savings From ACOs, $2.3B To Providers

CMS on Wednesday (Aug. 25) touted $1.9 billion in net Medicare savings and $2.3 billion for accountable care organizations in 2020 from the Medicare Shared Savings Program, shortly after ACOs said legislative changes to make the program even more attractive to providers could increase savings to the government.
