CHPA Seeks DSHEA Revamp, Monograph Transparency, Eased Rx-To-OTC Switches In Cures 2.0

The over-the-counter drug and supplement lobby calls for Congress to reform longstanding dietary supplement law to increase FDA oversight, insert more clarity in the OTC drug monograph process, allow non-animal testing methods and ease FDA’s Rx-to-OTC switch plan as part of a possible Cures 2.0 package next Congress.
