CHPA To FDA: Issue Interim Final Rule Allowing CBD In Supplements

The Consumer Healthcare Products Association (CHPA) says FDA should quickly establish a regulatory pathway to allow dietary supplements containing hemp-derived cannabidiol (CBD) to be legally marketed. The group sent a citizen petition to the agency Thursday (Nov. 14) calling for FDA to swiftly issue an interim final rule and bypass a notice of proposed rulemaking.
