CDC, FDA Working On Response To Human Infection With Avian Influenza

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is reporting that risk to the public remains relatively low after a positive test for highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) was confirmed in Texas, and says it is working with FDA and the Department of Agriculture on monitoring any potential risks to dairy products from avian flu infections.
