CBO To Lower By One-Third Expected Number Of Uninsured Due To Mandate Repeal

The Congressional Budget Office now expects one-third fewer people to be uninsured due to the individual mandate repeal than it had predicted in November, at which time it said that 13 million fewer people would be insured by 2027. CBO plans to issue a report with the new coverage estimates later this spring.
