A draft drug pricing bill floated by Sen. Bill Cassidy (LA) that would penalize manufacturers that offer lower prices overseas is facing resistance on Capitol Hill and is unlikely to be included in the Senate’s fast-moving reconciliation package, an industry lobbyist tells Inside Health Policy.
