Canadian Drug Imports Final Rule Under Review At OMB

HHS submitted for White House review on Thursday (Sept. 10) a final rule to let states import prescription drugs from Canada. HHS proposed a rule to do so in December . The proposal would allow states and other non-federal entities to submit importation programs for FDA review. The plans would have to show promise of significant savings for consumers in order to be approved.
