Califf Pushes Back On Sanders’ Idea For A Paxlovid Prescribing Hotline

FDA chief Robert Califf pushed back on Sen. Bernie Sanders’ (I-VT) proposal for a 1-800 hotline that would allow people infected with COVID-19 to get a prescription for Pfizer’s coronavirus therapy Paxlovid over the phone.
