Bipartisan Health Workforce Bill Increases Project ECHO Funds, Prohibits Billing Facility Fees

The Medicare workforce and extenders compromise hammered out Thursday (Sept. 14) by Senate health committee Chair Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Republican Roger Marshall (KS) would reauthorize and increase funding for the Telehealth Technology-Enabled Learning program through 2026 and prohibit hospitals from billing facility fees for telehealth services.
