The Medicare workforce and extenders compromise hammered out Thursday (Sept. 14) by Senate health committee Chair Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Republican Roger Marshall (KS) would reauthorize and increase funding for the Telehealth Technology-Enabled Learning program through 2026 and prohibit hospitals from billing facility fees for telehealth services.
