A bipartisan group of senators has resumed its push to get digital therapies covered by Medicare: On Thursday (March 9) they introduced the Prescription Digital Therapeutics Act of 2023, which would create a new CMS payment mechanism for the software-based treatments. The legislation would build on in-roads prescription digital therapeutics companies have made with some private payers and health care systems.
