Bill Hiking FDA Approps In Fiscal 2023 Moves To Full Committee

A bill that would give FDA a $341 million hike in discretionary funding in fiscal 2023 cleared a House appropriations subcommittee Wednesday (June 15) and now moves to the full Appropriations Committee. An FDA funding advocate praised lawmakers for giving the agency $3.65 billion in discretionary funding, which tracks closely with FDA’s $3.7 billion request.
