Biden Touts Record Enrollment, Calls For Permanent Enhanced Credits

President Joe Biden celebrated the more 20 million exchange plan enrollments announced Wednesday (Jan. 10) -- 8 million more than when he took office -- by calling to make permanent the enhanced Affordable Care Act subsidies that contributed to the record-breaking growth over the past few years but are slated to expire in 2025 and pledging to defend the law from GOP attempts at repeal.
