Biden Tasks HHS, DOJ, DHS With Ensuring Access To Medication Abortion

President Joe Biden has directed HHS, the Justice Department and Department of Homeland Security to consider issuing guidance to support patients, providers and pharmacies who want to legally access, prescribe and provide the abortion pill mifepristone, no matter where they live, according to a presidential memorandum signed Sunday (Jan. 22) .
