Becerra To CMS: Revisit Part B Premium Hike Given Aduhelm Price Drop

HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra directed CMS on Monday (Jan. 10) to rethink its decision to raise Medicare Part B premiums in 2022 given that Biogen recently said it would half the cost of its controversial Alzheimer’s drug, Aduhelm -- the main driver for the largest premium increase in Medicare’s history.
