Baldwin Bill Would Boost Subsidies For Young Adults

Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) is pushing legislation that would increase subsidies for young adults aged 18 to 35 by lowering the maximum premium contribution threshold. Baldwin says her bill, introduced Thursday (March 8), could boost subsidies for more than 4 million young adults and in the process encourage more young, healthy individuals to enroll while also protecting older individuals from higher premiums.
