HHS Secretary Alex Azar on Friday (Feb. 1) challenged congressional Democrats, who are critical of the administration’s proposal to eliminate drug rebates, to suggest an alternative. Democrats so far have largely denounced the Trump administration’s proposal, citing estimates that it would increase premiums for Medicare beneficiaries and federal government spending.
