Appropriators Direct FDA To Put A Stop To E-Cigarette Modification

Senate appropriators call on FDA to take additional steps to address vaping-related illnesses in the fiscal 2020 FDA funding bill and accompanying report they marked up Thursday (Sept.19) . The bill language asks FDA to issue a request for information on ways to address the outbreak of vaping-related pulmonary illnesses, and to find ways to prevent consumers from modifying or adding substances to e-cigarettes.
