Another Federal Judge Invalidates HHS’ ‘Conscience Rule’

A second federal judge on Thursday (Nov. 7) struck down an HHS rule that would allow health care workers to refuse to provide care based on their moral or religious beliefs. U.S. District Judge Stanley Bastian of Washington state issued an oral ruling against the so-called conscience rule during a hearing in Spokane, according to court documents.
