AMR Action Fund Will Start Investing In Antibiotic Makers By Early 2021

The head of the industry-led Antimicrobial (AMR) Action Fund said the group is on track to begin investing in companies that manufacture promising new antibiotics by the first quarter of fiscal 2021, despite the COVID-19 pandemic. The organization, which comprises 23 major biopharmaceutical companies, expects to see more industry and non-industry investors join by the end of 2020.
