AMA: Expand Tax Credits, Add FEHBP Option To ACA Exchanges

The American Medical Association (AMA) this week recommended changes to improve the affordability of the health insurance exchanges, including extending the ACA's tax credits to people earning up to 500 percent of poverty and policies that would offer additional help to consumers aged 19 to 35. The nation's largest physicians' group also came out against non-comprehensive health coverage, and called for requiring Federal Employees Health Benefit Program issuers to offer silver-level products in any county that lacks a marketplace plan...
